WhoYou DigitalID Windows Installation Guide

The WhoYou Digital Identity Platform enables users to view all information relating to an individual in a secure POPI and GDPR compliant manner. Each individual's information is stored in their own unique vault. Each user will be sent their own credentials and be linked to their company in order to view these vaults.

Please download & install the following files

.NET Framework Files

.NET Framework Version 3.5 SP1

.NET Framework Version 4.6.2

Once the files listed above have been installed, then download the vault using Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge.

WhoYou Digital ID installation using Internet Explorer

To install using Internet Explorer Navigate to WhoYou Website Support.

Scroll down to WhoYou Window Installation section.

Then click on this link Download the Trusted Vault

WhoYou Digital ID using Microsoft Edge

• To enable Click-Once support in Edge Chromium: Enter 'edge://flags' link in Edge Chromium browser.
• Scroll down to Click-Once Support setting and select 'Enable' from the dropdown list.
• Restart the browser.

1. Download Digital ID Trusted Vault – WhoYou Digital ID Download
   
2. Double-Click on the Desktop Icon or type in the search bar “Digital ID” to access the application.
3. Login using your provided Username and Password.

Networking issues?

Network and Security Settings Checklist

• Proxy Settings may be blocking the Fides Trusted Vault from opening.
• To fix this go to Internet Options -> Connections -> LAN Settings -> Untick: Use a Proxy Server -> Click OK

Is the Proxy required?

• Ask your IT manager to assist with the Proxy settings
