Google Chrome
Google Chrome Browsers is a Google product which uses Google Smart Software to manage and secure your browsing experience.
Allow Permissions on Chrome Browser
- Open the Chrome browser.
- Go to a site that wants to use your microphone and camera.
- When prompted, choose Allow or Block.
- Allowed sites: Sites can start to record when you're on the site. If you're using a different Chrome tab or a different app, a site can't start recording.
- Blocked sites: Some sites won't work if you block them. For example, you won't be able to join a video conference
Enable Camera Device
1. Open the Chrome browser.
2. To the right of the address bar, tap More (triple dots).
3. Tap on Site Settings.
4. Find the Camera in the list.
5. Ensure Whoyou App is Allowed.
FireFox Browser
1. Click the menu button (3 Lines) and select Settings.
2. Click Privacy & Security from the left menu.
3. Scroll down to the Permissions section.
4. Click the Settings '…' button for the Camera option.
5. Firefox displays the websites with saved Allow or Block permission.
6. Use the Allow/Block selector to change permission for the website. You can remove the site by selecting it from the list and clicking the Remove Website.
7. Select the Block new requests asking to access your camera checkbox if you do not want to give any other sites access to your camera.
8. Click the Save Changes button.
Microsoft Edge Browser
1. In a new tab, type in "edge://settings/content". This will take you to the Site Permissions page.
2. Click into either the Camera or Microphone section.
3. Set to "Ask before accessing (recommended)". It is recommended to make sure both Camera and Microphone are set to this.
4. Return to the WhoYou OTV Screen and refresh the page.
5. When Prompted Click Allow.
Android Native Browser
1. Open the Phone’s Settings app on your Android smartphone.
2. Scroll down and select Apps.
3. Tap on the Search icon on the top right and search for Samsung Internet.
4. Tap on Samsung Internet.
5. Scroll down to App Permissions and select it.
6. Tap to open Camera permissions.
This displays all the permissions allowed for the Samsung Internet browser.
iOS Native Browser (Safari)
Option 1
- Go to Settings, and scroll down to the list of apps, find out the app you want to manage.
- Tap the Browser app and you’ll see the permissions it wants. You can enable or disable camera permissions for specific apps from here.
Option 2
- Go to Settings > Privacy.
- Tap on Camera to see which apps have access to it. You can allow or block apps using Camera from here.
If you are having trouble with Intercom, follow the steps below:
- Open the Settings app.
- Tap on Safari > Camera.
- Scroll down to Camera & Microphone.
- Confirm that "Ask" or "Allow" is checked .
